Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was a worthy entry in the long-running Castlevania franchise and definitely the best 3D Castlevania to date. Now Konami released some official concept footage of the game, featuring none other than Simon Belmont, the original NES vampire hunter. While I actually liked Gabriel quite a lot, I wonder how the game would have turned out with Simon as the main man. Check out the video after the jump.

I’m a big Castlevania fan, especially the first and IV on the SNES so seeing this was pretty cool. He does kinda look like Gabriel though but I’m not picky so it doesn’t matter. I hope they improve upon future titles because I liked Lords of Shadow.
