Deus Ex

Deus Ex: Human Revolution is probably one of the most anticipated games of this year. Many of us have been eagerly awaiting the return of the series and New York City has something on the way to promote the game.

Square Enix has announced that they are having a number of known artists display their original Deus Ex artwork at an exhibition starting July 28. The two week exhibit is a lead-up to the game’s eventual August 23 launch. The line up includes 3rassiere, Estevan Oriol, Eyeone, Jeremy Fish, Jorge Alderete, N8 Van Dyke, Rico Deniro, Robert Abeyta Jr., and Sam Flores. I don’t know who any of those people are, but they are lending their talents to create the displayed art.

The artists are tasked with creating a poster style image based on the story of Human Revolution. Square Enix states that they will explore both pro and anti-human augmentation in their work. The art director is going to be “transforming the overall gallery space to create an experience that aptly depicts what’s in the game.”

Proceeds pulled in from the sale of the artwork will be used to further education in the arts.
