I should be thanking the developers. Up until about an hour before writing this, I thought we were going to pass on preview coverage of Borderlands because we weren’t able to use any video footage. Well, having the guilty concience I do and having a lot of videos do this week I said I’m going to sit down, and give this game about an hour. It took about 5 minutes and I was hooked.

Rumors are flying all over the internet today that are claiming a return is imminent for Marvel vs. Capcom 2. The popular forum NeoGaf was the first to break the story when they posted an image from the ESRB’s list of games that showed it would be coming to the PSN, and XBLA. Of course the internet is going a little bit berserk about the rumor, but Capcom has not said a word yet. Based on the images seen below, it looks like the game is listed as a Puzzle fighter, but with the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 title and, when I went to check the ESRB’s site to see if the game was listed at all I noticed that it was taken down. I found that extremely strange seeing the original Marvel vs. Capcom was listed for the Dreamcast, but nothing for the PS2 or Xbox version or Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Very interesting. Well, at this point all I know is that my copy of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for the Xbox went up on ebay 2 seconds after I heard the news. Let’s hope I’m not wrong.
Over at N4G a website that is written all in German has apparently leaked the list of playable games from Microsoft during the Tokyo Game Show. One of the most surprising additions to the list was Star Ocean 4 which is known for being a Playstation Exclusive. It man not be a big shock to you, but I found it somewhat odd. So the big announcement over at Bungie was THIS TRAILER. Lots of speculation about the ODST (Oribital Drop Shock Troopers) being in a Halo 3 expansion was rumored and now it may have been confirmed. Not much else to say. The trailer was released at 7:07am pst which shows just how much Bungie loves the number 7. The trailers been released, so make sure you check it out!
So I noticed that Bungie.net has their counter up on the site again, this time counting down to 9am central time. Rumors have said that it could be new maps, or a full blown extention of the campaign! We already got 30, yes THIRTY new achievements yesterday, some of which contained information about some mysterious mythic maps. Anyway, who knows. There’s a lot of speculation about what it could be and tomorrow were all going to know. I hope I dont get too excited and pass out. :)
Theres a ton of type behind Left 4 Dead and I have to ask if you’re excited or not. We’ve been told that the game will not have cut scenes, but yeah it has Zombies. Now I’m not sure if they mean that the story will be told in game or not, but for some reason, I’m just not excited about this game. Is anyone out there excited?
This is a pretty cool vid I found over at Destructoid. A guy hacked his 360 chat pad and was able to use it on his PSP. How freaking cool is that?
Now there’s one thing I cannot deny. The guys who do the Zombie maps for World at War are awesome. They’re challenging, they’re fun, and if you grab some buddies it’s almost as good as say….another zombie kill fest.
The 3 maps will be called “Battery” “Revolution” and “Breach” with the Zombie Map Pack being called “Der Riese”
Personally my favorite zombie map was map pack 2 but I guess we’ll have to wait and see if this 3rd map pack can hold it’s own. It’s lookin pretty good to me at this point so keep an out the August when they’re released and enjoy some Zombie killin.
