Sega has released the demo for Sonic Generations and as you might think, the demo has been cracked open by some dedicated fans, revealing a wealth of information and assets for the game. On the Sonic Retro forums, the data was first leaked to the legions of fans to pick apart and speculate.
In the data was a list of levels that are supposed to be in the game, ranging from Sonic the Hedgehog all the way up to Sonic Colors. Along with the levels was a matching list of bosses for each stage and according to some talk on the forums the assets for City Escape, which was recently teased by Sega, are also in the demo. If you follow the link, the original post has been taken down but as of now there are still pictures and talk about it.

Square-Enix just released three new images for Final Fantasy XIII-2. They show off some artwork, an event scene and a screenshot of the new character Noel (check here for the reveal) in action. While not really all that spectacular, they look pretty nice, so hit the jump and check them out. Let’s just hope Square-Enix doesn’t forget to include some gameplay in the game this time around.

Back in May, Capcom announced Resident Evil: Revival Collection, which was to bring Resident Evil 4 and Code Veronica X to the Xbox 360 and PS3 with updated HD visuals. But since then, not much has been heard about it. Until today that is, as Capcom officially announced the Japanese release date to be September 8th. The game will ship on 1 BluRay Disc (PS3) and 2 DVDs (Xbox 360) and will cost 4.490 Yen (~$55).
While I don’t care about what feels like the 28th re-release of Resident Evil 4, it’s nice to see that Code Veronica is getting some love. No details on an international release date have been given as of yet, but I’m pretty sure we won’t have to wait until 2012 for the collection to hit the West.

Apparently, Blizzard is going to hold a press event some time in July, to announce the begin of the Diablo 3 beta. While this is Blizzard we’re talking about here, it should be fairly safe to say that the beta, which has been known about since May, will follow shortly after the event. Let’s hope the finished game isn’t too far away either.
