Castlevania: Lords of Shadow was a worthy entry in the long-running Castlevania franchise and definitely the best 3D Castlevania to date. Now Konami released some official concept footage of the game, featuring none other than Simon Belmont, the original NES vampire hunter. While I actually liked Gabriel quite a lot, I wonder how the game would have turned out with Simon as the main man. Check out the video after the jump.

Konami has just released a teaser trailer for their upcoming RPG Frontier Gate which is being developed by tri-Ace for the PSP. I don’t know what you’ve heard about Saints Row, or what your opinion is on the first two, but you should take it, erase it from your memory, and then watch this gameplay walkthrough for Saints Row: The Third.
It has easily sold me on this installment of the game and I completely skipped the second. In it we get to see a car that shoots people like cannon balls (which can be used in co-op) a jet with a laser beam, an airstrike, and apocalypse hands.
Interested? You should be. You need to see this trailer. Also, some bald guy will be in it. I guess that’s cool.

Peace Walker was the last game that I put into my PSP that I can remember enjoying. I’ve had to review a few titles since then, but none had the same lasting appeal. Now that Konami announced that the game will be getting an HD facelift and coming to the PlayStation 3 I couldn’t be happier. No more cramped hands from holding the controller for hours on end as I build my Metal Gear, train troops, and take my one eyed friend on new adventures.
Now you can check out some gameplay in HD, courtesy of Konami. I cannot wait to play this again on a controller that doesn’t make my hands hurt from cradling my Snake.
OH LIKE YOU DIDN’T SEE THE JOKE COMING.
The trailer can be seen after the jump.

New Life Interactive, the indie development studio founded by Sheldon Pacotti (who is probably most well known for his work on Deus Ex), just released a trailer for their upcoming game Cell, which has been in development since September 2010. According to the announcement, the game is “nearly ready for release” and will deliver “an unprecedentedly deep visual simulation representing a new frontier in gameplay.” While both the trailer and the info given on the website are probably more confusing than anything else, Cell indeed seems to deliver a fresh and compelling experience that seems like a hybrid of ReZ, Lumines and Conway’s Game of Life. Hit the jump to watch the trailer.
